JANUARY 2012 SONGWRITING GAME!
Sorry it took a little while but I needed to find the time to draw a NINJA IN SPACE first! Most of you participating are already aware of it, but here is the subject and genre for this month.
Subject: Ninjas in Space
Genre: Dance Music
Dance music? What do I mean by that? Well, it's pretty vague and I want it to be that way. You could go in the direction of 'dance rock' like some of Beck's music, or you could go all electronic like some of LCD Soundsystem's music or better yet, write a disco or funk song. However you interpret it will be fine, as long as it has a beat that could be danced to. Hell, make a song that is similar to the Hokey Pokey, that's one of the most famous dance songs in the United States!
Not everyone has access to percussion instruments but organic beats (non-synthetic) will be awarded bonus points. Good luck everyone!
