February 2012 Songs!

Unfortunately, February was a busy month and we didn't get as many songs as before.  Fear not though, for the Song Writing Game is strong and will live on for many months to come!

As a reminder, the songs were in the style of Drug Fueled Lounge Music and the subject was The Square Encompasses the Circle (or was it the Circle encompasses the Square?  It doesn't matter).  What does all of this mean?  It means trippy, cool songs, that's what!  Now have a listen to the two entries below and vote on your favorite!

Brian Salapek - Talk to Me (In Geometry)
My comments: I had a hard time with both the style and the content of this months' song.  Inspiration came from Tom Waits and it will be obvious for anyone who is a fan of his.  It is a pretty short song full of nonsense but part of it is inspired by true events!

Joel Forsgren and Jonathan Baxter - When Squares Roam in Circles (Tripping Hazard)
My comments: Joel and Jonathan (Burrito) did a great job.  Their song is very cool and well done.  It features most, if not all, of the article that inspired this subject.  I felt it was only appropriate to have the video portion of it feature Burrito's floating head.
